What inspired you to write about death and dying?

Judith Tannenbaum, who I spent the last six months of her life with.

Getting it.

Long life and good health for my children and grandchildren.

Mortality.

Histories of math.

One an Orca would read.

What is your exit plan? How would you like to die?

Floating in glacial melt.

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what would it be?

An Orca.
